Like most built environment practitioners, I’ve lived and worked in cities most of my life – until I didn’t.
In 2019, I relocated from Victoria, British Columbia to a small Southern Gulf Island located on the Salish Sea. It’s known as the “Gem of the Gulf Islands” and is about an hour’s ferry ride from Vancouver’s Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, and a few hours from Vancouver Island and the Swartz Bay Terminal.
My life here and living off-grid has made me a better practitioner. My senses have been heightened, and my projects have taken on new clarity.
I invite you to take a breather, awaken your senses and join me on Galiano Island for a day of self-discovery and rejuvenation. Break away from the urban chaos and ground yourself in silence and natural beauty.
I will meet you at the Sturdies Bay Ferry Terminal on the south-end of the island, and we will travel north, enjoying breakfast or lunch at the Oxeye or Pink Geranium before hiking to the most northern tip of Galiano. We’ll spend several hours on the remote trails of Dionisio Point Park, take in the seaside views and then I’ll return you to civilization. You will be able to sail back home that evening or make arrangements for an extended stay if you wish.
This personal experience is meant to place you back in a natural environment, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life and your profession. For further information please us my contact page.
Note: Solo and Duos only, no groups.
